In Japanese, Sengo (戦後) means “postwar” or “after the war.” It represents renewal, rebuilding, and systemic transformation. Our platform carries this ethos forward: a post-exclusion era in capital markets, where communities become capital engines.
The Problem
For too long, access to capital and investing has been reserved for a select few. Underrepresented founders—especially women and people of color—have faced closed doors, limited connections, and fewer opportunities to raise funds or invest. At the same time, funders and community members who want to back diverse entrepreneurs often lack clear, ethical pathways to do so.
The Solution
By creating a digital community of education, events, and ethical fundraising, Sengo connects founders, funders, and community members with the knowledge, resources, and networks they need to participate in wealth-building together. When underrepresented founders are fully supported and funders have transparent, inclusive ways to invest, businesses create jobs, strengthen communities, and generate wealth that transforms families for generations.
